Wearable/Home Automation Device Project

We designed smart fridge, which has touch screen that connects to the app and available to manage from other wearable devices. This fridge takes into problems of wasting foods and malnutrition. The touch screen and app show what foods you have in fridge and expirationdates of those to eat before that date. Considering that, the app recommends healthy recipes. I took part in designing the app icon and UI design.

ICON DESIGN

• I wanted the icon to show that this app is about fridge. So, I created with apple which is iconinc food, and snowflake.

  

• This is the first product. I coloured background blue, because it is clear to show refridgeration with snowflake. Besides, there are red colour apple and green apple, so I design apple using both colours.

  

• I got an advice from teammates, and I brought applw and snowflake middle. That was because app icon is small and it has rounded corners. Considering balance, this one is better.

  

UI DESIGN

• This is my brainstorming how the app is functioning. In bottom navigation, there were home, which shows what in your fridge, recipes, plan, shopping list and setting.
  In Home page, there are also expiration dates and the app gives nortification before a few days of food ruuning out.

  The second page is plan page. You can see daily plan and if you slide the page, you can also see how much nutrition you got, and you will get with that plan.
  The third page is reciepes page. You can research recipes, and the app recommends healthy recipes with foods in your fridge.
  The last page is shopping list. It is really useful to look at the list when you are buying groceries.
  I put setting button at top right. You can register and it is easy to connect to fridge screen with account.
